Westshore, one of the largest business districts in the southeast, continues to add residential accommodations with ICON Residential’s Westshore Village at 2511 N Grady Ave. officially opening on Saturday (July 21).
The location near W Boy Scout Boulevard reflects the district’s emerging transition to a live, work, play area with high-level townhomes.
Its location allows residents to walk to the nearly 4,000 businesses, 38 hotels, two major shopping malls and more than 200 restaurants and bars within the Westshore area.
"Westshore is such a business district and we mainly want to attract people to such an urban area," said Sirahdia Stewart, ICON Residential’s digital communications and content specialist.
"We want to introduce something that hasn’t been done in that area and bring luxury living that doesn’t come with most townhomes. It gives that extra edge and that feeling of wow this is grand."
The new community offers 92 luxury three- and four-bedroom townhomes with unique layouts such as multi-level units, some with as many as four floors and some with an elevator, balcony, or rooftop living views complete with an outdoor kitchen.
Also, unlike many standard homes that typically have the kitchen and living room on the same floor or the main level, in Westshore Village, the kitchen and living room space are on different floors; one may be upstairs and a bedroom may be downstairs.
The townhomes offer two distinct floor plans: the Hyde Park and the Channelside.
The Hyde Park provides 2,425 square feet of living space, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a two-car garage, a bonus room with wet bar to a fully-tiled feature wall in the living area.
The Channelside floor plan model has a total of 1,902 square feet, three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and a two-car garage.
Townhomes in the Westshore Village start in the mid $400s and increase to the mid $600s depending on the size and amenities.
The grand opening will showcase two model homes displaying both floor plans and a tour of the entire community and its amenities such as the pool, dog parks, and bocce ball courts to come.
